Grandmothers In Solidarity For Love

Diamond sparkle friend
The wealth in your curious eyes!!!
Your invisible delicate grace
Pulled into our circle…
As teary eyed white ladies sat
Listening to pain upon pain upon
relentless generations of pain.
We, too, as women, colorless to the warmth
of a beating heart
Choose love and cannot
Sit silently knowing
The depth and breadth
Of senseless injustice by our own.
Systems of death to dismantle,
We can celebrate together, dreaming
Our recovery through earthen homes,
Village hearths of health.
Thanking earth mother together
We inform humanity
Of the possibilities for peace
As grandmother to grandmother
Our world of plenty
Can unite for all our grandchildren.
As worlds combine,
We learn to hold all our sisters
Thru the relief of changing times…
United in the heart,
We circle
In solidarity
For LOVE
