What do women want?

Report from the 900 line.

By z Budapest

This age old question had been written about by men ad nauseum, always ending up with some handwringing, and pulling off hair from chest, and gnashing of teeth, and a helpless cry at the end: "I dunno".

Well I do.

I have had a 900 number (737-4637) in operation as a one woman service for three years now, and hundreds of women and some brave men have consulted with me. They call sometimes at the crack of dawn, because their feelings blot out their consideration for the time differences. I am in California. They call from every state, New York, Nebraska, Florida, Oregon, Alaska, you name it, even from Australia sometimes.

"Blessed be, this is Z!" I start and then there is an short pause, because most women who call me have never called a 900 number before. This is good. I don't want the masses. I want to consult with the thinking woman, the one who is not using me as a drug, but as an equal, as a sister, as a priestess. Another reason women don't call 900 numbers often is a fear of the expense. My readings costs on the average 40-45 dollars and they are worth it. I end readings when I have said what I had to say, and anything beyond that is up to the caller. I discourage women from calling back before the last reading had time to unfold. A reading takes time; some people live faster then others.

"What can I do for you?" I ask.

The women begin talking about their feelings while I mix the cards after anointing my hands with Bergamont oil.

"How old are you?"

This is an all important question. Women at different stages in their lives have different destinies to fulfill. Some years are dangerous. Such is 29, the first Saturn Cycle. This can be a suicidal year; many people when depressed ckeck out from this life at destiny's turns. 27 can be dangerous, but mostly just restless.

30 is a great ambiguity, and by 31 things are clearer, and the woman is starting up her second destiny. Needless to say most callers I have are in this turn of the destinies' time. 35 is also interesting, because the second destiny starts offering up missions to the woman; where, oh where. shall she put her energies, where, oh where, is her place for her big contributions?

So the first answer to the question, what do women want, is they want to discover and be true to their destinies. Why have I come here? What is it I am supposed to do?

In order to have a destiny one has to be free. Freedom is the basic condition of human destiny, freedom to grow, to choose, to fulfill.

Many women don't think about it in lofty terms, usually it comes out as "I don't know what's wrong with me, I am not happy with my job…it's a good job...but something is missing."

When "something is missing" that is the soul's way to tell us that destiny is waiting at the door and one has to open the door to let it in.

How? you ask.

Opening the door to destiny is accepting a change. The change will move the energy. Change can be small or large. The Native Americans often do a "giveaway" when they pack up a lot of their possessions and give it away. This is a wonderful way to do charity plus move the energy. We too can go through our possessions, especially women, and if we have not worn or used something for three years, it's not ours anymore. Give it away.

In China where Fung Shwei is practiced they know that the energy that moves through your dwelling place or business will influence your health, wealth and progress in life. There are "unlucky houses," where people are sick all the time, unlucky spaces for money, or creativity. Everything hangs together with everything else. When you correct the flow of energy in one place it will affect the rest. Sometimes placing a round mirror in your bedroom will increase peace, happiness there. Such a trifle, yet so powerful, because energy is energy, and we are all made of the same star stuff. Well you know. Big changes are moving, traveling, changing jobs. Getting married or divorced.

"What sign are you?"

That's my next question, because certain signs are more attuned to spiritual messages, and it will influence my readings. If it's a Pieces person, a little goes a long way, she'll hear me beyond the words. If its a Scorpio woman I better spell it out real clear and run for cover because she may hear it but could pretend she didn't, or even deny its validity, just to be contrary. Aquarians are easy to talk to being one myself, so are Libras and Geminis. Virgo ladies need logic interjected, Taurus ladies need down to earth yes or no answers. Leo/Sagittarius/Aries women love to have this kind of focus upon themselves rarely afforded to women in real life. And this goes for most women who call -- just to have a woman totally listening and consulting the spirits on their behalf is a treat.

What do women want?

Women want attention, which is a form of love. Attention we don't get even if we are professionals, because in boardrooms still, after all these years, men pretend not to hear women when she is talking, men pretend women are less worthy of attention then the average Joe. We may get a payckeck also that is less than a man's, we may get a title, responsibilities, but when the respect is handed out, men still prefer each other, and this is why I always said heterosexuality is a myth. If men really loved women, we would get paid twice as much as a men. Not less. I mean it.

What do women want? Women want respect. Respect that is earned, fair and square, not given to us as a present, or as a" token", or as a way to get into our pants. Respect that is real, honest to goodness respect that's is ours to keep, put on the mantel, display in the office. Show it off to friends.

Women are human identified versus men are male identified. Women want men to identify with the species more deeply. If men did identify with the human race and not just their own tribal men only, we would have no war. Women want peace. Men want to engage their energies/power play with other men. Men enjoy a good conflict, they often define their worth still as if they were back in the stone ages. This leads to war on a large scale. Men love power over, and also love to play good guy/bad guy. Some males are always good, because they kill the bad ones, but in the process a lot of babies and women get killed also for nothing. Peace is the condition for wealth and health and civilization. Women are good at peace. Women's destiny is to create civilizations.

Men think peace is boring. This is why we have guy movies and chick movies. Guy movies have no plots, only scenes, where the lead man gets to be angry, swears its personal, grinding his teeth, uses lots of guns and demolishes the other guy who pissed him off. There is a chase in it around the end, where men sit at the edge of their seats, and women cover their eyes because they are disguising a yawn.

Chick movies have no guns but a lot of relationships.

There is a story, the center of which is the heart. There is a change of heart of the lead character, a curve. There are scenes where resolution brings forth the tears. Women weep and enjoy, men look away thinking about the sports score they have missed.

Hollywood tries not to make chick movies even when they bring in money. Why? Hollywood is run by men. Men are governed by their love for themselves and not there to create entertainment for women.

They claim the opposite, saying women come and will see guy movies on dates. But men won't go and see chick flicks on dates. This is the reason they say females talent has so little to do in Hollywood. Why has there been no spin off from Thelma and Louise? It made money! It won an Oscar.

And now it gets thorny. Women want love. There are real heterosexual women who are stuck with the men who love guyness more. . .

On my 900 line, love rules.

"Uhhh, I have been seeing a man. . .we really got along well.. .but now he went overseas and I havent heard a long time. . .

"I like this man, he is not married but lives with a woman, they have a kid together.. . he said he doesn't love her. . .what to do.. ."

"Will there be a lover in my life..soon? I really miss intimacy.. . "

"I have been with this man for many years and now he said he is moving out, breaking up with me.. . will he be back???"

"Should I go out with this man, older guy, or should I go out with this other man who is younger??"

"I am 23 . . . I have been sleeping with this cute guy -- will he stay?"

And love is not gender specific.

"I am a lesbian.. .I love this woman who is straight.. you think shell come out with me? Should I tell her?"

"My lesbian lover and I are thinking about creating a baby.. .do you think she is the right one for parenthood?"

"I have not seen this woman for many years.. .we used to be lovers.. . now she is back in town.. .should I see her?"

All the women want to know. will there be love? Love to women is the glue of their lives. It makes waking up in the morning an exciting event. . Destiny is love, love is destiny, but some loves are just a tad more important then others. Some loves are yariyari yara, and some are to die for. What decides?

This is the question of the ages. And the secret is in the stars. When we meet lovers at destiny's change, say at 27,29,30, or the second Saturn Cycle, 56,57 58, these loves are more intense than the others. Anything that happens at 50 for example is (Chiron return) will wound you a little, but the wound will be a healing wound, will heal and leave you with new knowledge.

Love is a flow of energy that is carried by us all. Love is needed to create a successful new life. Love is the energy that changes us most profoundly.

Love opens destiny's door most readily and happily. Women often live for love.

Women want to be loved back.

Many women do well for a while just loving without any returns, sacrificing for children, doing double shifts of labor for husband's comfort, and accepting their lot as the creators of love but not the consumers of love. But after a while they get listless, sick, depressed when they feel unloved. Receiving love in turn is what energy balancing is all about. To put out and receive in equal measure is a skill I often tell women to practice as homework. Reexamine what you are responsible for in the universe, never do more then nine things at the same time. In the nine things, your own upkeep must be part of. Many women are surprised to find that their load of responsibilities is made up of 25-30 things they have to do! Creating a written list is helpful. It makes it possible to confront the details, and do something about them.

When a woman cannot give up anything from her overloaded list of responsibilities, I ask her to place the list under their pillow for overnite. This way her unconscious can sort them out while she sleeps. Upon waking, look at your list and give them priorities. Give them numbers from 1-9. Place then again under your pillow and spend another nite and another nite, each morning rethinking it, prioritizing them, assigning them numbers of importance. The third morning you should have a workable "to do" list .

So what do women want? Women want a more perfect world. It's a good goal, however ambitious, but you know women when they have made up their minds, they will strive for this. In the deep end of the sub age of Aquarius there is no reason why we should all not work and pray for a world where women are happy, children are loved, and the men, yes the men, are more human identified. And love is a little easier to give and take.

Call me. 510 936-1439. Blessed be.
