Alean Haider's fundraising visit to
Bay Area launches fundraising drive for AWP
Alean Haider, WBW director and a
member of the Afghan Women's Peace Circle visited the Bay
Area with a friend January 4-January 10. Together the two
young women, who are students at Montclair State University,
entertained friends, cooked delicious Afghan food, travelled
to San Francisco, and inspired generous support from Sonoma
County women.
