Mission
To create opportunities for women from diverse backgrounds to become empowered and work together to build a better world.
Project
Our first activity, initiated under the auspices of Peacexpeace, was to link up with the Women's Peace Circle in Kabul and find ways to help them rebuild their lives after 25 years of war.
In the summer of 2006, with the Sonoma County Women's Council, we funded a small microlending project for the women with donations from some thirty California women. Now eight women have been awarded starter loans of $1000 each. Thus far, all the women have made regular payments on their loans.

We are proud to have as a member of our board Alean Haider, a member of the Kabul Peace Circle, and a graduate of Montclair State University in New Jersey. She is now attending graduate school at Kennesaw University in Atlanta, Georgia.
We are also proud to welcome Denise Ames to our Core Circle in Albuquerque.
Goals for the future
In accord with our mission, we are looking for opportunities to create workshops and dialogue circles, bringing together women of diverse backgrounds to identify what we have in common, and create new ways to work together to achieve our common objectives in building a Better World.
