After 5000 years of silence, the Great Mother is revealing Herself throughout the world. Women are awakening up to the source of our power and we are giving voice to the profoundest urgings of our hearts . . . We are becoming a powerful force in the world.
But the world hasn't changed enough. Governments and institutions continue to be dictated by the rules of men operating according to an outdated patriarchal paradigm of male dominance and control. People and resources continue to be exploited for the sake of the profit of the few, and the future of the planet is still at risk.Now is the time for women to come together to speak up for the world! We must speak for our children and ourselves. We must join the voices of the native peoples and all people under siege, everywhere, to speak for the land and its dwindling resources. We must work intensively for the emergence of a new culture, one which honors women and holds all life to be sacred.
To succeed, we need to relinquish the old ways of thinking and doing. Our task is to rediscover and manifest the essential, undefiled female nature, to come into our own native power by connecting to the deep feminine source within ourselves and honoring the wisdom of our great maternal ancestors, our sisters, and our daughters.
By gathering in circle, sharing our stories and our wisdom, and expressing our positive visions for the future, we practice an egalitarian process of self governance through which we hope to discover the way to a safer, healthier and more fulfilling life.
