Into the Fourth Dimension!

An interview with Anamika

by Stephanie Hiller

Asked how she got into the work of energy healing, Anamika tells me she was born with psychic and clairvoyant powers &endash;-- which she assumed everyone had, "as indeed we all do," but when one day sitting on her grandfather's lap, she was able to tell him what he had been thinking, she became aware that to others, her gift was unique.

Anamika's voice is animated on the phone, words flowing more quickly than I could possibly record by hand. Is she from New York, I ask? No, but she is Jewish. Words tumble out of her mouth as if the muscles of the mouth are straining to keep up with the rush of thought.

She says she remembers her birth, and even the moment of conception. Pretty far out, says me, but did she retain the memory always or did she recover it later?

She admits it was a process. "As I became more self aware, I remembered things more and more that were just tucked away someplace . . . Because the process of self awareness is really what we're here for. As you become more aware of who you and are and what is inside of you, that leads to a greater state of consciousness, or openness to truth. So the process of becoming conscious is what we're here for, and the way to get there is by paying attention to your feelings, your thoughts, your state of being -- your emotions, your reactions, your sensations -- and using your own body as a reference point.

"The body is like a magnifying glass that illumines who you are, and your life is like that, life on earth is like a magnifying glass which shows us very profoundly what our beliefs are, WHAT we're projecting into the world, what beliefs we're creating from. If you pay enough attention to the people around you and the situations around you and your own reactions, you can learn a tremendous amount about yourself and what beliefs you are creating from. And then if you find that you're creating from beliefs that aren't serving you, you can then seek help to allow for the dis-creation of those beliefs so that you can find out who you truly are, deeper than those beliefs that you recognize at some point are no longer serving you."

"Wonderful," says I, "well that sounds so easy! But what of those of us who are stuck with some issue or another? How do you approach that?"

"Well, there are different stages of this," she goes on to explain, beginning with the process of psychological work through which you "examine your own biography to a certain degree, because there are a lot of juicy and really useful material right there," and then "at some point you realize it wasn't really all about mommy doing this to me or daddy doing that to me, that there really is a larger journey that's the journey of the soul or the spirit, and at that point you handle it more from the perspective of spiritual healing, where you see that your relationships with all that is around you really is a metaphor for your relationship with your true self, as an aspect of all that exists, which is the real you."

Wow.

"Who you truly are, not who you have believed yourself to be, a persona called Stephanie for example, but who you really are beyond that. And if you find yourself in a repetitive cycle, and you find that you cannot break that cycle, which is more often than not, that's where you have to turn to something quote unquote bigger than you, what people call going to a higher power, or going to god. You have to open beyond the self-created cycle after admitting it is your creation . . . that's where you take the proverbial leap of faith into what could be called spiritual healing. You open on faith to the possibility that there is some part of you that does already exist beyond that place that is not working and that you are willing to and want to be opened to experiencing yourself at that greater level of being."

The process is a very powerful one, but it also frightening, she says, because "we have wired into our biology a fear of the unknown and a fear of death" so letting go of an old persona the experience is that it actually dies or is transmuted into another.

"The energy gets pulled out of that persona, and it's an ego death. We're very identified with our personas. That persona feels like reality until you see that there's a more truthful or a more loving reality.

"The more practiced you get at it, the easier that becomes, but the first time or first bunch of times it's very very frightening, and it's akin to when a person dies. That can be a very beautiful experience or a very frightening experience, depending on how you hold it. If you have some sense of yourself as an eternal being, then the relinquishing of the body and the persona can be a wonderful release because you know that you still exist as the eternal being that you are. It isn't an annihilation, it's a translation into a new dimension of being. Then it's a joyous experience."

There are different stages of development while we're in a human form. We have seven basic chakras and, on the earth plane, seven basic levels of development that a soul journeys through -- and that the earth journeys through -- and right now the earth is in the process of shifting from the third, which is correlated to the third chakra, to the fourth."

The first dimension is concerned with basic survival issues, while the second has to do with very basic raw emotion.

"The third dimension, which is where we have been for the last many many thousands of years, has to do with self-empowerment. Personal power, personal will, personal mastery. Which means, my will be done, my power, I know that I am in charge, I know that I am capable of creating the life that I want. It's using your own personal will for your own goals."

Does this correspond to the many eras of masculine domination?

"Yes, it does. First third fifth and seventh are considered a masculine energy. So we're moving into a feminine space now, which is when people talk about the return of the goddess . . .

Yes!

"The fourth is what we're moving into, and in fact the frequency of the planet is shifting, because we were operating at 7.8 hertz, which is a scientific measurement of the Schumann wave or the heartbeat of the planet, if you will. It's the resting state. In the laboratory, that state is a state of literally being asleep. So we have been asleep . . ."

And that's the state of personal power?

"Yes, because the spirit is asleep. It's the awakened state of the personal will but it is the state of disconnection from the spirit.

"What we're doing is moving from 7.8 hertz up to 13 hertz -- we haven't gotten there yet, we're maybe at 11 or 12 -- and 13 is the state of what you might call christ-ed consciousness -- the state of unconditional love, we're all connected, come from heart. Yeshua was planting the seed and it's taken us 2000 years to begin to understand the meaning of that.

"The majority of people live in the first, second and third. The older souls are now making the transition from the third to the fourth. What that has to do with is peace, love, harmony, interconnectedness, cooperation and a higher will be done.

"The higher will is really your heart's desire. Your deepest desire is really the same as the divine will. Whatever is the truest heart's desire is also what is in our interest. And that is one of the awarenesses that comes in the fourth dimension, that we don't come anymore from greed, from lack, those are all third dimensional concepts, which lead to war, which lead to fighting, because it's a consciousness of lack which says there isn't enough to go around so I better grab it for myself, dog eat dog world, I better compete, I better be the best, because then I will survive. Well, that's not a heart-centered level of consciousness . . ."

I laughed. "Not exactly."

"A heart-centered way of consciousness would say there is enough -- which, by the way, has been proven -- financially, in terms of food supplies, education -- there is more than enough for everyone, all six point five billion of us, if it were properly distributed, which it is not. Therefore, if everybody had [what she needed] there would be no need for this lack consciousness. We could say it the other way: if there were not lack consciousness, everybody would have and therefore there would not be stealing, fighting, gangs, all that would disappear, and that's where we're headed.

"September 11 served a fantastic function of bringing to people's awareness to the need for cooperation and that's what touched everybody's heart so deeply, was everybody standing up in favor of everybody, and it brought the world together on a very profound level, not to mention it began the demise of the economic structure which is absolutely necessary to transmute that because that structure, which was based in third dimensional consciousness, was actually a fear or greed based consciousness which doesn't allow for everybody to be in a cooperative and loving situation with each other."

So . . . that's why we have Enron?

"Correct. All of those are signs of the collapse of the current economic structure, which must fall in order to bring this world into its higher state of consciousness, which is what's happening, and it's inevitable. We will not destroy ourselves or blow ourselves up. What is occurring is the demise of the old persona of the planet or the old way of doing things is what's being destroyed. Which is the same process as an individual going through an ego death. We are now going through a planetary ego death and translation into a higher dimension and that's a very unusual thing to live through. It doesn't happen very often, so this is an unprecedented one, because we're actually moving to a higher one than in any of our recollection. Which is why there are so many earth changes, which is why people's physical cycles are so disrupted, why everyone's hitting the skids, why their lives are collapsing and through breakdown into breakthrough. People are hitting material and darkness and old sorts of consciousness which they didn't know were there, because they have to be cleaned up and relinquished before the process of shifting. You can't take the baggage there, you've got to leave it when you shift dimension."

That's why she doesn't get so upset about September 11. She sees how it serves evolution. She believes that the souls of the people who died in the crash had chosen to participate in this sacrifice in order to wake us up.

I share with her my own amazement at what I consider to be a miracle -- that we have not employed the dreadful weapons we have created. And Anamika says we're not going to.

"That's wonderful news," I respond. "But . . . what's stopping us?

"The few people who are making the shift are carrying sufficient light of this new dimension that that's enough. And increasingly, and more rapidly now, more and more people are embracing it and it's gathering a momentum now. It was touch and go for awhile there and especially with nuclear weapons it's very touch-and-go, in fact as recently as the India Pakistan problem…"

"Yeah, what happened to them? Why didn't they do anything?"

"Again, there's enough light now, enough prayer, enough concern, enough love. It comes down to, there's enough compassion. The power of that is greater than the power of the darkness. Those incidences when you approach the world from love &endash; for example, you might not understand that when you're sitting in love or doing your own personal work in your own house, you might not see any direct correlation between that and India and Pakistan not going to war. And yet, there is! Because everything you do to change your consciousness into higher love has an impact on the whole, because we are one whole organism. If one truly understands the oneness of this organism and that everything affects everything else, than everything that you do, there's a wave of compassion and concern that gets emitted with you that joins the wave of compassion and concern. And that wave is a carrier wave that does affect everything. It ameliorates the darkness, and it also can help pull up the darkness so that it can be purged."

Darkness and light are colors or frequency of being as in an artists pallet, she explained in response to my question about the value of the dark, and are to be viewed without judgement. The frequencies reflect varying levels of consciousness.

Then what about the victim of that lower-frequency behavior? Is the victim in the same frequency as the perpetrator?

"Correct! In the polarity of that frequency, there's a victim and a perpetrator and a rescuer. They're all in the same frequency."

Then would she say that our government and the terrorists are in the same frequency?

Yes, she would. "In that respect. They're all playing war games."

It has been a commonplace that you draw to you the energy you put out. And isn't rape a tough call in that regard?

"That gets associated with blame. You've drawn to you and therefore it's your fault. That's blaming the victim, you know, it's my fault that I got raped. It's not about fault! It's about become so self aware and so self responsible that you can actually identify the energy band within you that has drawn in that experience, because there is never a coincidence or an accident about that. There is an energy band within each being that creates what we are experiencing. Most of the time people are completely unaware of that energy band so they feel like a victim and they feel like it's life punishing them or god punishing them or the rapist punishing them. At the deepest level of god consciousness, there is no such thing as a victim and there is no such thing as a perpetrator. There are people playing out different sides of the coin of duality, of a particular band of consciousness. And that's all it is. The human experience of being the rapist or the rapee, it's a different experience certainly. But the level of hurt on both sides is horrific."

What if it's a group of people, like the people sitting on the plane that crashed into the Tower? They were all in the same band?

"Well most of those people, if you talk to their souls, they had actually agreed to do that, volunteered and were so glad to be of service. They were either in that frequency band of signing on for a kind of service, or on a frequency band of it was their time to go."

I have some trouble with this "all's right with the world" attitude, even though I understand that from the place of "god-consciousness" (as it is unfortunately called), every moment is perfect. I'm not sure that I can accept the flawless planning of the Great Spirit in collecting passengers who were either willing to die or for whom it was simply there time to go. It may be true, but there's something dangerous about it, as there is something dangerous about thinking, as Anamika does, that the raped and the rapor are on the same level. Even if it is true! Like immortality, such beliefs allow us to take life too lightly, and have been associated in the past with Fascism, as Monica Sjoo has shown pointedly in her amazing critique of the "New Age." I don't believe Anamika is promoting fascism, and I'm not even sure she is wrong; but I hesitate to even publish what she has to say in this regard. I don't think most of us are ready for it!

"You said many times at the workshop about becoming the love that you are, that it would happen without effort -- ?"

"No, no. That when you become that -- when you open into the frequency of who you really are, which is unconditional love, and beyond, life begins to flow without effort.

"The struggle in life and the suffering come from the perceived separation from the source or from love, where you feel you are not one with that, and that its all up to you, and from that perspective life is indeed a tremendous struggle. But when you live from your infinite nature, life flows with ease. It doesn't mean there aren't great challenges, but there's a flow and an ease that doesn't happen when you live from a place of fear."

Oh! Of course. Then what did she mean about "are you ready to be split open?"

"The energies were splitting the persona. The opportunity is to have a glimpse of what lies beyond or beneath or deeper than the persona. Once you have that reference point, you can choose to keep going there."

So we have a choice?

"Yes, there's always choice at every moment, even when it doesn't seem like there is."

Our time was up. A client was calling. And I discovered that my tape recorder hadn't been working!

Not to worry! She had taped the whole thing, and would mail it to me.
