ReCreating Motherhood Conference

in South Australia

Friday 10th May, 2002

There are many different stories of being a mother. Do you know any mothers who live the romantic fantasy life depicted in the ads for Mothering Sunday!?

How do mothers do the work they do? Is that work valued by society?

This conference has been planned to offer an alternative to flowers and chocolates on
mother's day through providing a forum of acknowledgement,
appreciation and celebration of the many stories of mother's.

It is intended to be a conference for mothers and those who work with mothers, to increase the appreciation of the complex role and tasks of motherhood.

The conference offers an exciting and rewarding programme that will suit diverse groups attending.

Limited Childcare places are available for children under 4 years. Bookings are essential.

Please call Ceridwyn Owen (ph 8344 7530) before Wednesday 1st May to secure a place.
